Paremhat takes its name from the seventh month of the ancient Egyptian agricultural calendar — the season marking the first stirrings of spring and the start of a new harvest along the Nile. It's a name rooted in timing, patience, and the rhythm of the land, long before it was ever a brand.
We chose it because it says plainly what we do: we work with the land's own calendar, not against it, and bring what it gives us — at its best — directly to your table.
In ancient Egyptian belief, Renenutet was the cobra goddess of nourishment, abundance, and the grain harvest — honored at harvest time as the protector of the fields and the giver of plenty. She's the reason our mark shows a serpent coiled protectively around the fruit: a symbol of watchful care over something worth protecting, from the field to the final product.
